Jimmy Fallon has addressed Jimmy Kimmel’s show abruptly being taken off air.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kimmel<\/a>\u00a0sparked outrage earlier this week for\u00a0his remarks on the Republicans and Charlie Kirk<\/a>, who was assassinated at the age of 31 on September 10.<\/p>\n

Kimmel said in part: \u201cWe hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”<\/p>\n

ABC proceeded to pull\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em>\u00a0from its schedule \u2014 a move which\u00a0President Trump applauded the network for<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED,”\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0penned on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

“Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that\u2019s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!”<\/p>\n

Lots of celebrities<\/a>\u00a0have since weighed in on the matter,\u00a0including Ben Stiller<\/a>\u00a0who said: “This isn’t right.”<\/p>\n

Now fellow TV host\u00a0Jimmy Fallon<\/a>\u00a0(who was mentioned in Trump’s scathing social media post) has spoken out on it too.<\/p>\n

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon said: “To be honest with you all, I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on \u2014 no one does.<\/p>\n

“But I do know Jimmy Kimmel, and he is a decent, funny and loving guy. And I hope he comes back.”<\/p>\n

His monologue also took a comedic angle, with an announcer censoring several of the punchlines to his jokes about Trump.<\/p>\n
